7:30AM 12-hr Pelagic Seabird Trip

IMPORTANT TRIP INFORMATION
Your Credit Card holds your spaces, we do not charge your card until you check in.

Check in 30 minutes before the trip.


Please bring your Confirmation with you when you check in.

To Wear:
Dress warm, layers are best. It is 10 to 15 degrees colder on the ocean than on land. Soft-sole shoes are recommended.

To Bring:
Bring anything you want to eat or drink during the trip. Snacks and sodas are available on the vessel or on the wharf. Sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats are helpful. Bring binoculars, cameras, and video cameras if you have them.

Seasickness: We do not go out if the seas are extreme or there is a storm. However, we will be on the ocean and there is often a swell and or wind chop. Seasick medication is recommended as a precaution. You can pick up an over-the-counter medicine at any drug store or purchase a packet of two tablets (Meclizine) at the shop as you check in. It is best to take1 tablet the night before the trip and the 2nd tablet one half to one hour before the trip.

Cancellation:
We have a 24-hour cancellation policy.
We may cancel a trip at any time due to weather, under-subscription, or unforeseen circumstances. If unsure about weather, please call and we will advise you on the trip status.

Restrictions: Due to the nature of pregnancy and the motion of the ocean we strongly discourage pregnant women.

GPS 100 Pacific Street Monterey
Heritage Harbor Parking Garage
Located conveniently on Scott and Pacific Street, 2 short blocks from the head of the Wharf. Hourly rate is $1 per half hour and $15/day. Take a ticket, (pay when you exit) Cash or credit card.
Walk down Scott St 1 block, the street bends to the left and brings you to the beginning of Wharf #1 (Old Fisherman’s Wharf)
There is a pink shop Harbor House Gifts at the entrance to our wharf, walk down that wharf in between all the shops and restaurants. Turn Right at the CRAB HOUSE Restaurant. We are in a red building our sign says MONTEREY BAY WHALE WATCH CENTER

OR GPS TO 201 WASHINGTON STREET TO REACH THE WATERFRONT PARKING LOT.
THE WATERFRONT LOT IS A PREPAY LOT with 2 PREPAY KIOSKS.
YOU CAN ALSO USE THE PARKMOBILE APP.
THE LOT ZONE IS #21031 USING THE PARKMOBILE APP.
The Waterfront Lot. rate is $1.50 per hour with a daily max of $10.00

PLEASE PREPAY FOR YOUR PARKING AT ONE OF THE PAY STATIONS IN THE WATERFRONT LOT OR USE THE PARKMOBILE APP.
ALSO, PLEASE INSERT YOUR CREDIT CARD MAGNETIC STRIPE DOWN INTO ONE OF THE PAY STATIONS TO PREPAY FOR YOUR PARKING FEE. THERE IS A BUTTON TO PUSH ON EVERY PAY STATION TO REACH "HELP" FOR ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE. THANK YOU!
-Walk from the kiosk towards Wharf #1 with all the colorful shops & restaurants (there is a pink building at the beginning of our wharf).
-Walk down Fisherman's Wharf, near the end turn right at CRAB HOUSE Restaurant & you will see our building with a large red sign on top that reads "MONTEREY BAY WHALE WATCH CENTER".

NO CHARGES WILL BE BILLED TO YOUR CREDIT CARD AT THIS TIME

Cancellation Policy
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. To cancel, call us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid full charge. We may cancel a trip at any time due to weather, under-subscription, or unforeseen circumstances. Trips will take place if it is raining, but not in strong windy conditions. If you are unsure about the weather, please call 831 375 4658 and we will advise you on the trip status.

Restrictions
If you are pregnant, we highly recommend that you do not come out on the boat. We may be several hours away from medical personnel. There is no age restriction.
